The most popular talent according to TalentChic is the preferred L80 raiding build for Feral Cats in Wrath:

honeslty – why take “improved leader of the pack”? this skill has become ultimativly useless with wotlk if you are going for dps!
Healing has become even easier and if you look at healing done by ILOTP (I advise wowwebstats), you can see those amounts really don’t matter at all!
instead you should go with feral instinct to improve swipe damage. Actually in most dungeons and Naxx most damage dealt is to trash. as half t7 geared and up, I deal up to 40k per swipe in Naxx 25.
I even dispensed 1 point in Master Shapeshifter (2% dmg), to max swipe. It’s actually up to you, but if you are into pve, this is the better choice.
For a pure DPS spec, with a Glyph of Mangle, I’d want to hit Mangle as infrequently as possible so the 3 points there seem like overkill to me. I put those into Feral Instinct instead. (Cat Swipe is so OP now.)
Agree with the guy above that ILotP is not always necessary, and is just a matter of whether you’d want to help the raid with that little bit of extra healing (also good for soloing). The floating 2 points from there can also be put into Nurturing Instinct for more survivability in raids, or if you really insist, back into Mangle for some energy cost reduction.
Mostly I agree with Winddancer, but wouldn’t it be better to take a point out of Feral Aggression (-3% Ferocious Bite damage) instead of Master Shapeshifter (-2% total damage) for Feral Instinct?
I personally think that the 5 points into Feral aggression is stupid. In a raid, there is rarely a time when you use actually use Ferocious bite.
usually you are keeping rip and Savage roar up, throwing in a ferocious bite is usually only when you have a huge surplus of extra energy, in most boss encounters that is high improbable. Only fights I think of are loatheb and ones like that, where you get so many combo points from your constant crits, but even in that situation, I would still find it very inadvisable.
I am much more of a fan, of my spec

the 2 points in NI are for pvp, and because sometimes its advisable to cast a heal on certain fights, like Grobb, or loatheb, in a good group you shouldnt need it, but sometimes it helps a ton. Also, the increase of 20% is very nice on Kt if you get ice blocked and things like that
If you want the most dps you can possibly get without worrying about surviving which you probably wont need to with a decent raid group go for my spec exactly http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Hellfire&n=Crisiscg and before anyone says you can’t get ferocious bite in your rotations you can with good crit chance
The 0/55/16 is almost good but you have to have Berserk so I would take the point of Omen of Clarity and use it for Berserk for extra DPS.
I like the spec but would much rather have Berserk and Feral Swiftness. I put 4 into Feral Aggression to accomplish this. (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0ZvGMsfrz0eR0hzAk0Eczb).
Berserk is required of you ask me, it’s a cat’s primary DPS cooldown, similar to Adrenaline Rush for Rogues. Not getting this talent will lower your DPS quite a bit!
Not taking swipe damage when there are around 5 add fights in ulduar is stupid, taking improved mangle is dumb as there is always a dps warrior in raid, no berserk? Berzerk + TF + Heroism/bloodlost + potion = MASSIVE armor pen 15k shred spams. this spec isn’t good.
Hey biorage, you can’t use TF and berzerk… GG
yeh but you can right when bezerk has finished and you just about shredded all your energy out….TF= full energy again..GG
I’m hoping that the data collected for this spec is influenced by bear specs, although the imp. motw is still really questionable.
The points in imp mangle are pretty worthless. There’s even an argument over at think tank that says imp. mangle doesn’t belong in a bear spec either. (http://wowthinktank.blogspot.com/2009/01/druid-threat-value-of-improved-mangle.html) Either way, considering how infrequent mangle is in a cat rotation (except for fights like lologarn) The points could be much better spent in improving swipe for trash/AOE fights
There’s a point in SURVIVAL INSTINCTS, but not BESERK. WTF? SI might have SOME utility in some weird situations (Ignis? maybe?) conversely, beserk should be used just about every time its off cd.
Two points from furor should definitely be in Imp. Motw. Powershifting days are over, and imp. motw should be in every druid spec ever now since it provides 2% to all attributes of the druid.
@Wes OOC is an amazing talent. Arguably better than beserk. There are many other places that point should come from for beserk.
whats the recomeded crit rating for raids/dugneons
Few Issues with this build.
Berserk is needed for DPS it helps a ton on single targets such as bosses.
Survival Instincts not really needed when it comes to raids if you have decent healers.
Personally not a fan of Feral Charge.. never use it considering a prowl/pounce combo does the same thing with damage.
Feral Instinct is another needed talent that helps a ton with trash mobs.
Feral Aggression is debatable. I chose not to take it cause quite frankly I rarely drop a ferocious bite, I’d rather make sure to keep SR and Rip up with those combo points even if it drops my DPS slightly.
